Royal Castle Trinidad has expanded it's operations with the opening of its newest outlet in Siparia yesterday.

Customer experience manager Natalie Gordon said there are plans to open a dozen more outlets in the next decade.

“We are very confident in our brand. We know the Siparia residents always wanted us to come in, it was just to find that location. As you can see, they truly love us,” Gordon said when she spoke at the official ceremony to launch the High Street outlet.

“The Royal Castle brand holds it's own so despite the economic conditions, the consumers still support us. “

Gordon said the branch created 20 jobs in Siparia and is expected to create more “because we still have people applying and we always welcome staff at our locations.”

Customers from as far Palo Seco lined up outside the store, anxiously awaiting it's opening. The first to enter, Bernadette Gross Banfield, 55, said she had been waiting for weeks for the opening.

“I love Royal Castle, I couldn't wait for them to open . . . and when I saw the commotion this morning, I knew I had to come in and eat,” Banfield said.

She was presented with a hamper for being the first customer, while other patrons were presented with giveaways and hampers.
